My Husband’s Other Woman Came To My Door And Said She Needed My House For Their Baby

“But the timing is unusual enough that Debra deserves to understand what she’s dealing with.”

Tyler continued reading.

The color slowly faded from his face.

He looked at Rachel.

“Why didn’t you tell me about these other relationships?”
“They aren’t relevant.”

“You said you’d never been involved with a married man before.”
She looked away.

“I didn’t think my past mattered.”

Tyler stared at the documents.

For the first time that morning, he seemed uncertain.

Then he asked a question I hadn’t expected.

“Rachel, are you actually pregnant?”

The kitchen became silent.

She looked at him.

“What kind of question is that?”

“Please answer.”

She folded her arms.

“I don’t have to sit here being interrogated.”

Tyler’s voice grew quieter.

“Are you pregnant?”

Rachel didn’t answer.

I watched him slowly lower the documents.

I couldn’t tell whether Rachel had lied about the pregnancy.

Only medical confirmation could settle that question.
