Housewives who think that the most difficult thing is to clean grease and soot from pots and pans, probably have not yet encountered dirty lids. Usually, all the dirt accumulates under the rim, making it impossible to reach even with a brush with narrow bristles. In this case, common hydrogen peroxide, which is in every first-aid kit, comes to the rescue. Take the lid, pour hydrogen peroxide, wait 5-10 minutes until the reaction begins and the antiseptic “eats” the grease, then rinse the lid with warm water. Hydrogen peroxide is a powerful cleaner and, moreover, an antiseptic, so you can clean the lid in an instant. To make the cleaner even more effective, mix one tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide with two tablespoons of baking soda until you have a thick paste. Pour boiling water over the lid to loosen some of the grime, then apply the paste (it’s easiest to do this with a dish sponge or toothbrush). Let the paste sit for 15 minutes, then brush the lid again and rinse with warm water.
Tip #4: Use aluminum foil instead of a wire sponge.
Aluminum foil cleans the pan perfectly.
We are used to using aluminum foil exclusively for cooking, but it has other useful uses that many housewives do not even suspect. For example, you can roll up a ball of aluminum foil and use it to wash dishes. This trick is useful when you throw away an old metal sponge, hoping to find another one in the drawer, but there is none. In terms of effectiveness, aluminum foil is no less effective than traditional metal sponges, easily removing grease, soot and other contaminants. However, it is important to note that it is not suitable for cleaning dishes with a Teflon coating, as it risks damaging them.

acrylic with grapefruit
Some of the most popular bathtubs on the market are acrylic. They are relatively inexpensive, have a smooth, pleasant surface, are easy to repair, are lightweight and warm to the touch at room temperature. However, this type of bathtub has some disadvantages, the main one being the difficulty in maintaining it. An acrylic bathtub can be easily damaged if you do not know the right cleaning products. We strongly recommend that you avoid harsh household cleaners. It is better to use natural remedies, such as grapefruit. Cut it in half, sprinkle one half with a little sugar and thoroughly clean the bathroom floor and walls. In addition to perfectly removing dirt, grapefruit also releases a pleasant, refreshing aroma. After cleaning, we recommend that you take a full bath and relax while listening to soft music.
Tip #6: Remove scratches from the pan with milk
Milk forms a film and fills the scratches. / Image: technotion zen channel
Over time, small scratches appear on pans. Some remain even after intensive cleaning with metal sponges, others are caused by forks and legs used to turn pieces of meat, fish and other foods during cooking. In any case, these scratches ruin the appearance of the dishes and are very annoying, so it's a good idea to pay attention. If the scratches are small and superficial, try removing them with this trick: heat a saucepan on the stove, pour in a little milk and let it heat up. Thanks to the protein structure of milk, a film forms on the bottom and sides of the saucepan, filling the scratch and making it less visible.
Soak the towels in the vinegar solution for half an hour. / Image: technotion zen channel
It’s no secret that dish towels are some of the dirtiest items in the house. Stains from everything: grease stains, food residue, and drinks. For this reason, many housewives even avoid buying expensive fabrics, because washing them is a difficult task. It’s easier to buy a new set after a month or two than to try to restore an old one to its original condition. However, there is a secret ingredient that can significantly simplify the washing process and increase its efficiency. Try soaking dirty dish towels in a vinegar solution for about 20-30 minutes, then place them in the washing machine and select the appropriate cycle. Thanks to its composition, vinegar can remove grease stains and other contaminants, which also cause unpleasant odors. It also softens the fabric, making it easier to wash.
