Convinced that her friend would
find the scene amusing, she sent him the recording.
But her reaction was very different from what she expected.

The veterinarian carefully observed the python’s movements, then looked at the recording again. Its expression was now serious.
Camilla immediately noticed this change in attitude.
“Camilla… answer me immediately, with the utmost sincerity. Where is the snake now?” he asked.
The young woman, bewildered, replied that Dorato was in her room, lying on the rug
at the foot of the bed.
She didn’t understand why a video she found touching seemed to cause so much concern in her friend.
Edoardo then asked him to leave the room immediately, lock the door, and not let the animal roam freely during the night.
