I didn't hang up immediately.
For several seconds I stared at the glass in the room while Lily breathed heavily under the effect of the sedatives.
That girl was the reason I buried the Ghost Colonel.
And now that was the reason he was willing to dig it up.
"Sir," Reyes said firmly. "We are all still reachable."
-How long?
—Thirty minutes.
I nodded without realizing that he couldn't see me.
—I don't want revenge.
There was a brief silence.
—I want the truth.
-Understood.
—And one more thing.
—Say.
—Everything within the law.
Reyes let out a slow breath.
—That will make things more difficult.
—I never said they were easy.
